A Dutch language course for beginners starts on February 22nd
With over 22 million native speakers (6 million in Belgium, 16 million in the Netherlands) Dutch is a "medium sized" European language. Bulgaria's EU membership and the economic integration with EU countries - the Netherlands and Belgium are important source for foreign direct investments in Bulgaria - have led to an increasing demand for Dutch-speaking persons on the Bulgarian labour market.
In this context, a Dutch language course for beginners starts on February 22nd at the Foreign Language Teaching Department of the New Bulgarian University. The classes will take place two times a week (10 academic hours per week). The semester totals 150 academic hours and ends on June 18th 2010.
